Stationary cycles are used from a seated position, and you exercise with a circular pedaling motion. On an elliptical machine, you are in a standing position and use both your arms and legs to receive a total body workout. Ellipticals also feature a more oval (or elliptical) pedal stroke. Elliptical machines are designed to replicate walking or running, while stationary cycles are designed to replicate outdoor cycling.

Absolutely! The M5 features a drastically reduced footprint as compared to traditional ellipticals, and uses the same magnetic resistance system as our M Series cycles. That means the M5 Strider is also whisper-quiet, has extremely low maintenance needs and has no need for external power!

The M5 has a Stride length of around 13.5” (34.29 cm) with a more vertical emphasis than most elliptical machines. This aligns your body in a more upright position, targeting the glutes and elevating heart rate more effectively, giving you a more intense workout with the same smooth stroke.

To help you meet your fitness goals, there are several available smart phone apps compatible with the M5i, including Keiser M Series (iOS®), Goind (iOS), Ride Buddy Buckets (iOS), Impowered.betested (Android™) and Impowered.betrained (Android). The free Keiser M Series app allows you to track all of your cycling data session by session, perform FTP tests, and export your data to systems such as Garmin and Strava.

Yes, in order to reduce costs for customers we ship our cardio machines partially assembled. You can call our service department at 559-256-8000 or 1-800-888-7009 with any questions. If you’d prefer not to self-assemble your machine, you can contact our in-home specialist at 559-256-8020 or 1-800-888-7009 (toll free) for a quote to have the bike assembled by a professional or to have one shipped to you fully assembled.

Once an order is received, the elliptical trainer is shipped within 3 to 4 business days of processing the order. All Keiser exercise machines are manufactured and shipped from Fresno, CA. Your shipping transit time depends on your location.

We ship our elliptical machine about halfway assembled via Fedex. You will be provided a tracking number that will estimate the day of delivery. To ensure protection of your investment, Fedex will require a signature of someone over the age of 18 to release the machine.

Not to worry, the warranty covers all shipping damage. If the box arrives damaged please note the damaged areas with the driver. If the machine appears damaged after opening the box, just send a quick picture of the damaged area to shipping@keiser.com and someone will reach out to you within 2 business days.
